The ACS Professional Year Program is designed to assist ICT graduates gain employment in their chosen career, as well as give eligibility for 10 migration points towards permanent residence. This initiative was implemented in response to concerns that many recent graduates experienced difficulties in gaining employment in their qualified professions.
The Program and its content have been determined in consultation with the ACS; it contains classroom delivered components as well as a professional internship.

- Professional Internship (Work Experience) for 12 weeks
- Professional training specific to the industry
- 44 weeks as gazetted by DIAC
